The Woodruff Arts Center is pleased to announce Woodruff Salutes Georgia Arts in Education Leaders, a program to honor teachers, school and arts administrators, community leaders and volunteers throughout Georgia who have championed and demonstrated the ability of the arts to impact positively the lives and learning of young people in grades Pre-K through 12.

The Institute for International Sport will be hosting the 2008 United States Scholar-Athlete Games, an event focused on broadening a students perspective on athletic and cultural programs while immersing them in an environment of international understanding. Athletes and artists from around the world spend eight days on a campus designed to facilitate a fusion of talent and instruction in their field of interest in addition to educating them about worldly issues through carefully planned theme days and keynote speakers. Two of the main programs offered include Symphony and Choir. These two programs will focus on individual instruction while building group cohesion from students from around the world.
